Living on the Edge of the Law

I do not pretend to draw cats well, so me thinks that this will be my only fan art of the new movie, Puss in Boots. Character featured, is Kitty Softpaws.

cause the movie went through an early release, and ugh ><;;; due to work I'm probably not going to be able to see it for another two weeks. >> one more day though, and Halloween will be over - yeah for life going semi back to normal.

Anywho, the pose is inspired off of one of the legend of Zorro posters featuring Catherine Zeta-Jones. They're not the same actress/voice over for Softpaws, from what I've heard Salma Hayek does an AMAZING job as her. But alas, the spunk of the character reminds me of Zeta x3;; Specially out of what I've seen from the trailers and such. She's such a perfect match for Puss, and a kleptomaniac as well!
Speaking of poses, remind me not to do a lot of foreshortening. Took foreveeeeer. ><;;;;;

and Idk, I've been trying to lay off the pen tool as far as line art is concerned lately, and I've been playing around with the texture tools to try to make things look a bit more like brush strokes.. Still a bit blocky in places, but meh, I'm not going to claim perfection in any of my work.
